Optimising outcomes following traumatic dental injuries
The aim of this presentation is to highlight the importance of early appropriate intervention in traumatic dental injuries. Public education campaigns in awareness is the first step. Each individual within the Dental Team can play an essential role in successful management of patients of all ages and their families following a traumatic dental injury. The current knowledge on management and outcomes following traumatic dental injuries, both in acute situations and in the long-term follow-on care for the patient will be highlighted and illustrated using cases.
