Can we do more to prevent dental trauma?
The world prevalence of dental injury is estimated as 22.7% in primary teeth and 15.2% for permanent teeth with no significant difference in prevalence between geographical regions. The aim of this presentation is to explore the role dentists can play in the prevention of injury for individuals of all ages. It will also highlight resources and programmes that can be used as examples for intervention across the world.
