Graduating from the medical faculty at Comenius University in 1992, Dr Simona Dianiskova undertook specialisation in Stomatology in 1995. She completed three years postgraduate residency at University Wuerzburg in Germany followed by orthodontics study in 1998.  She obtained a Doctors degree from Comenius University, PhD. in 2006, and since 2008, she has been the Head of the Orthodontic Department of the Slovak Medical University in Bratislava. Holder of a Master of Public Health (2008), she is a member of the Editor’s board of the journal Stomatolog and Czech Stomatology. Having completed a Master of Science in Lingual orthodontics, University Naples (2015), Dr Dianiskova is a council member of the Slovak Chamber of Dentists, Chairwoman of the Foreign affairs committee, Member of Educational committee and Director of Revisory committee of the Slovak Orthodontic Society. She is also President of European Regional Organization of World Dental Federation (ERO-FDI) (2022-2025).
