Chair Professor and Director of the Shanghai PerioImplant Innovation Center, Faculty of Medicine, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Professor Maurizio S. Tonetti is the Executive Director, European Research Group on Periodontology and the Editor Emeritus of the Journal of Clinical Periodontology. His clinical practice is limited to periodontology and implant surgery with an emphasis on regeneration, minimally invasive surgery and microsurgery. Prof. Tonetti works with leading colleagues to provide periodontal care and dental implant treatment to the world elite, and his scientific work has been cited > 45,000 times, featuring frequently in print and visual media.
