Professor and chairman in periodontology at the Faculty of Odontology in the University Complutense of Madrid, Professor Mariano Sanz directs the EFP accredited postgraduate program in periodontology and implant dentistry, in addition to directing the ETEP (Etiology and Therapeutics of Periodontal and Periimplant diseases) Research Group.
