With a DDS from Yonsei University, College of Dentistry and specialty Training in periodontics, Temple University, USA MS in Oral Biology, Temple University, USA, Professor Ki-Tae Koo served in the Department of Periodontology, Yonsei University, College of Dentistry in 2007 and a Visiting Professor at Augusta University, The Dental College of Georgia from 2014 to 2017. Currently the Assistant, Associate Professor & Professor at Seoul National University, Prof. Koo is the former Editor-in-Chief of Implantology and an Expert Council member at the Osteology Foundation. An ITI Fellow, ITI Study Club Director (Seoul Section) with the ITI Foundation, Prof. Koo is a  First Prize winner in Clinical Research at 2019 Osteology International Symposium and in Basic Research- 2019 Korean Academy of Periodontology. They are the author of over 100 publications in peer-reviewed international journals.
