Following completion of his D.D.S. degree at Osaka University School of Dentistry in 1996, Dr. Kazuhiko Nakano received a Ph.D. (Pediatric Dentistry) from Osaka University in 2002. In 2014, he became Professor and Chair of the Department of Pediatric Dentistry, Osaka University Graduate School of Dentistry as well as Head of the Pediatric Dentistry Clinic of Osaka University Dental Hospital. In 2018, Dr. Nakano assumed the position of Vice Dean of Osaka University Graduate School of Dentistry, and he currently serves as a Standing Director, as well as Board Certified Fellow and Trainer of the Japanese Society of Pediatric Dentistry. Dr. Nakano has authored and co-authored more than 250 original research articles and clinical reports, as well as several book chapters in the fields of pediatric dentistry and clinical oral microbiology.
