Following graduation, Professor Katalin Nagy completed specialty-degrees in oral surgery, prosthodontics, and implantology at the University of Szeged, addition to defending her PhD and habilitation there. She was appointed as the first Dean of The Dental Faculty, before becoming the Vice President of the university. Prof. Nagy's main field of research is oral cancer. She defended her theses and received the title of DSc., at the Hungarian Academy of Science. Prof. Nagy gained her international academic experiences in different international Institutions in the UK, USA Germany and Finland, where she has spent lengthy periods of time. Organiser of the most prestigious dental conferences over the last 16 years in Hungary, Prof. Nagy was the President of the ADEE.  She is currently a full professor and the Head of Oral Surgery at the University of Szeged, the President of the Hungarian Dental Association and Elected Director in Counsil of European ??
