Prof. Georgios Romanos is Board Certified in Oral Surg./Implant Dent. in Germany, a Diplomate by the Am. Board of Periodontology and Past President of the Acad. of Osseointegration (AO) Foundation and Implantology Research Group (IADR). A Fellow of Am. Assoc. for Dental Res., Int. College of Dentists, Prof. Romanos has global educational/research activities and he has served as Visiting Prof. in Brazil, Italy, Spain, Malaysia, and UT/USA. Prof. Romanos is the author of more than 450 publications, editor, and co-editor in 7 books; lectured in more than 50 countries (over 700 presentations worldwide), and the recipient of many scientific awards.
