Holder of a Doctor in Dental Surgery degree from the University of Costa Rica and a Master’s degree in Endodontics from the University of San Luis Potosí, Mexico, Dr. Daniel Chavarria-Bolanos also has a PhD degree in Engineering and Science of Materials from the University of San Luis Potosí, Mexico, and a PhD degree in Biomedical and Pharmaceutical Sciences from the University of Liege, Belgium. Currently he is the full-time Professor and Director of the Diagnostic and Surgical Sciences Department of the Faculty of Dentistry, University of Costa Rica; and President of the IADR-Costa Rica section.
