Currently a Lecturer in Dental Technology at Griffith University’s School of Dentistry and Oral Health, Australia, Andrew Cameron holds a Bachelor of Dental Technology, a Master in Dental Technology in Prosthetics a Graduate diploma in Higher education and is a confirmed PhD candidate. Previously Mr. Cameron worked commercially in several dental laboratories and clinics as a technician and clinical dental technician. He currently teaches in the undergraduate Bachelor of Dental technology and Dental Prosthetics and Post Graduate Doctorate of Clinical Dentistry in periodontics, prosthodontics and maxillofacial surgery specialist programs. Mr. Cameron also has a keen interest in maintaining and keeping up with the current trends in digital dentistry and he is published widely in peer reviewed dental journal. His areas of expertise are removable prosthodontics, 3D printing, subtractive manufacturing, advanced CBCT imaging analysis, intra oral scanning, assessing accuracy for dental applications and advanced surgical guide manufacturing and design.
