He is a member of the EAOMS and AOCMF. Dr. Elsharkawy is an international speaker, in addition to publishing multiple research work in OMS and receiving a fellowship in Glasgow University as a prize for best poster presentation, and AOCMF fellowship in Maryland Medical Center In Baltimore, USA.
