Preparing your patients for “Old Age”
Recent research shows many patients enter care facilities with pre –existing dental conditions which then progress at an accelerated rate. Clearly more needs to be done in the years preceding possible assisted living needs to therefore reduce the likelihood, almost inevitable, of rampant dental disease that contributes to a significant reduction in function, aesthetics, OHRQoL and dignity.
