In ageing society, healthy longevity is an important goal. It has the potential to unite humanity in spite of our many differences. This goal cannot be achieved without providing all people with access to the services and education required to maintain oral health and the functions it supports eating, talking, and smiling.
In this background, FDI OHAP Season II launched in 2021. I will talk the mission, activities and outcomes of OHAP projects which focus on people-centred and function-focused approach.

Oral health professionnals have to go further than preventing and treating oral diseases. We have to work in partnership with the local communities to develop person-centred methods for evaluating and screening oral functions at all health care levels. The proposed tools are designed to help us in their mission.
