Management of extraction sockets in implant dentistry
Fdi Session (On Demand)
Session Description
Management of extraction sockets in implant dentistry
With the prevalence of implant therapy, our patients have come to demand more from us - they want fewer surgeries, higher success rates, less invasive procedures, and more esthetic outcomes. To improve our surgical results, we must begin by appropriately managing cases from the start, when the tooth is still present in the patient’s mouth.
This lecture aims to address various techniques with which we can manage extraction sockets to achieve our treatment goals as clinicians, while respecting our patient’s wishes.
